The Leadership Selection committee is made up of 6 members who are responsible for leading the congregation in identifying, affirming and utilizing the gifts of its members. The committee asks the congregation to identify members whom they feel possess the gifts needed for the work of the church. Based upon this expression by the congregation, the committee discusses with individuals their desire and willingness to serve in a given office or capacity. Leadership Selection then presents a ballot to the congregation to be affirmed in the June congregational meeting. The committee members are also responsible in helping commissions reorganize and elect officers each year in August.
