The Truthseekers class includes Oak Grove folks between the ages of 35 and 50. Our class has a wide range of people. Some of us are parents and some are not. Some of us have blue collar jobs, some have white collar jobs, and some have stay-at-home parenting jobs. Some of us have conservative leanings and some of us are more liberal. No matter what, we're all committed to following Christ together and believe that the Bible is best studied with other believers. A typical Sunday School class with us involves studying scripture and talking about it together. We often have class with no official leader, instead letting the the discussion arise from the bottom up. We gravitate toward conversations about how the scriptures speak to us today and how it ought to shape (and change) our daily lives. Some folks in out class are involved in small groups that meet for meals. Many of us get together in a more informal way for fellowship. All are welcome.
