Living Poor in Wayne County
Purpose: As Oak Grove prepares to build a Habitat House (in our church parking lot!) this summer, we want to prepare ourselves to form appropriate relationships with our Habitat family as well as learn to know our community better. We believe we need to know about the challenges of being poor, especially working poor, in Wayne county and the resources available—and not available—to people less fortunate than we are.
Topics:
Websites are provided in case you’d like to learn more about the organization before the meeting.
