At Oak Grove we take seriously Paul’s directive to care for one another ( 1 cor 12:25)
Our Sunday School classes are tightly-knit gatherings of people who counsel, mentor and provide for one socially and even materially.
We visit one another formally through our church visiting ministry and informally as we invite one another into our homes to break bread and socialize.
We pray for one another during our services and from our homes.
We contribute financially to other local ministries such as People-to-People of Wayne County. We participate in local fund raising efforts such as the MCC relief sale and the MCC meat canning.
We contribute to world-wide relief efforts thought our association with Mennonite Central Committee and through smaller, periodic fund-raising campaigns.
We will be collaborating with Habitat for Humanity to construct a home for a family in Wooster, OH.
